Peter Thomas’ Bar ONE Bar in Atlanta is now under foreclosure. SMH!

Via Centric TV:

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was recently stuck with a $100,000 lawsuit for falling behind on his financial responsibility for the ATL hotspot. His landlord Eloshua Elliott and Showtime Cafe claim Thomas “breached a lease agreement by failing to pay rent and other fees including late fees, bank charges, real estate property taxes and unpaid utilities.”

Court documents allege Thomas failed to pay his $10,000 monthly rent from March 2013 to the end of the year, as well as $5,000 in late fees. Elliott also listed Cynthia Bailey’s property– where she houses her modeling agency and talent company– as being $29,000 behind on rent.

Yet in an interview with, Thomas says he takes no blame in the lounge’s foreclosure and is pointing the finger back at Elliott.

“For the fact that these two guys, who are my landlords … didn’t pay the rent that I was paying them every month for over a year. They was upside down on the property but I wasn’t aware of that until I got the letter from the bank saying not to give them money anymore,” he explained.

Thomas said he plans to partner with a group to repurchase the property when it hits the market and considers the entire situation a misunderstanding.

According to News One:

The 51-year-old entrepreneur (Peter Thomas) told Access Atlanta, ”I’ve been caught in the middle of the crossfire. I don’t owe them anything.” Thomas also alleges that the landlord has tried to oust him from the property twice, even though he has renovated the edifice, spending some $120,000 to make vast improvements.

Showtime Cafe’s attorneys told Access Atlanta, they are hoping to get a court hearing soon, so that Thomas can be kicked to the curb and their clients can finally lease the property.

Story is developing.
