Drake’s shows off his new cover art for his third album “Nothing Was the Same”, which has been pushed back again. The Young Money artist gives his fans a visual of his evolution from a child to a man. The two covers were revealed on his website OVOSound.com which also confirmed the new September 24 release date.
According to Rap-Up, the artwork was designed by artist Kadir Nelson, who designed the cover for Michael Jackson’s posthumous album Michael. One profile shows Baby Drake with an afro pick in his hair, and the other shows the all grown up Drake against a sky blue backdrop.
Drake’s new album will feature hit singles “Started From the Bottom” and “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” with contributions from Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and Hudson Mohawke.
The cover art looks a bit corny to me? Your thoughts?
