Kendrick Lamar is the trending topic these days. We posted yesterday that the West Coast rapper ignited a hip hop uproar when he annointed himself as the King of New York in his verse on Big Sean’s track “Control”. Kendrick also called out rappers Wale, J.Cole, Drake and others by name in the seven-minute track. Check out the celebrity responses below.

Even comedian Kevin Hart responded with mock rage with a video under the alter ego Droppa to answer Lamar’s diss heard around the world:

“Kendrick Lamar, you don’t want this work/ I body people in bins bigger than pots and dirt/I got Porta Potties in the dugout, first base/You come to my base, that means you wanna chase me.”

In case you missed it, Kendrick’s verse went a lil sumthin like this:

“I’m usually homeboys with the same n—-s i’m rhymin with/ But this is hip-hop and them n—-s should know what time it is/ And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale/ Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake/ Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller/ I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n—-s/ Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n—-s/ They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n—as,” the Black Hippy MC rapped with an extra grit to his already gravelly voice.

Celebrity tweets on Kendrick Lamar’s Control verse:

“I hear u loud and clear my n—a… @kendricklamar,” Pusha T tweeted right after the song was released.

“I never really tweet about music. But good lord.. @kendricklamar just like.. Bodied everyones entire year’s worth of raps lol,” Just Blaze wrote in awe.
