Lauryn Hill is to be sentenced this afternoon on tax evasion charges. However, that’s not the only thing she is dealing with these days. We hear Hill is now facing eviction for not paying her rent.

Less than a week before she is sentenced for her tax fraud case, Grammy award winning emcee and cultural icon Lauryn Hill is being sued for eviction by her landlord at her South Orange, NJ mansion. Hill has been renting out the multi-million dollar home since 2009, but when she didn’t pay her rent last month, her landlord filed for eviction immediately.

Lauryn Hill faces sentencing in Newark this afternoon on tax evasion charges.She faces a maximum one-year jail term on each of the three counts when she’s sentenced today.
