Gotta give it up to the Queen. She stays making great business moves. Queen Latifah’s production company, Flavor Unit Entertainment, has signed a deal with Netflix. According to AP, Latifah announced that the deal will allow for streaming service first look at titles from her production company. Flavor Unit has produced films such as “Bringing Down the House” and “Just Wright,” which Latifah starred in. The company is also responsible for the production of the HBO film “Life Support,” which earned a Golden Globe Award for Latifah.
In a statement, Latifah said Netflix is a “strong brand and the perfect place to showcase our projects.”
