Music executive, @CliveDavis, reveals he’s been involved with men in his new memoir, “The Soundtrack of My Life”. He took forever to come out the closet!
In his new memoir out Tuesday, the 80-year-old music mogul, says he is bisexual. In the biography entitled “The Soundtrack of My Life” Davis says that hat he hadn’t been repressed or confused during his marriages and that sex with a man “provided welcome relief.” He also reveals that he’s been in a “strong monogamous relationship” with a man for the last seven years.
Davis says he dated a man from 1990 to 2004, which was a “tough adjustment” for his son Mitchell. Davis is the father of three children.
In a new interview with ABC’s Nightline, Davis calls bisexuality “maligned and misunderstood,” adding, “I’m not lying. Bisexuality does exist. For over 50 years I never had sex with a male. It wasn’t repressed. I had very good sexual relationships with women.”
The books also dishes on so much more including his experiences in the music industry, his relationship with the late Whitney Houston, and other artist like Bruce Springsteen, Simon & Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana, the Grateful Dead and others.
The music-industry legend reveals to Katie Couric that he is bisexual. “I opened myself up to the possibility that I could have a relationship with a man,” he says of life following a failed marriage.
