So last night, I decided to watch TLC’s new network reality show “Starter Wives Confidential” #StarterWives. The show gives viewers a glimpse into the complicated lives of celebrity exes of DMX, Floyd Mayweather, Lamar Odom, Rapper Maino, Funk Master Flex, and others. I thought this show was going to be a drama free show, I was WRONG in every sense of the way. Peep a clip of the show below:

TLC says, these “starter wives” spent years in the shadow of their famous partners, supporting them emotionally — sometimes even financially — as they rose to fame. They raised the children, kept the homes and stood by their men through it all. Now, after the relationship have soured, they’re moving on.

50 Cent’s ex/baby mama was suppose to be on the show, but the network got a cease and desist letter from 50 Cent’s legal reps saying she was under a GAG ORDER. LOL!

Meet the cast:

Brooklyn-born-and-bred Zakia Baum is a passionate and devout Christian woman with a flair for the dramatic. She shares a son with her ex, rapper Jermaine “Maino” Coleman.

Tashera Simmons is striving to get her life and finances on track while divorcing her childhood sweetheart, rapper DMX. They have four children.

Known for her highly publicized and tumultuous relationship with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., Josie Harris is the mother of three of his children and is trying to start over while figuring out how to co-parent with Floyd.

Liza Morales is the ex-girlfriend of NBA baller Lamar Odom and the mother of their three children. While grieving the death of their youngest and silently watching the whirlwind romance of her ex play out in the tabloids, Liza is stepping out of the shadows and finding her voice.

The soon-to-be ex-wife and formerly silent partner of superstar DJ and radio personality Funkmaster Flex, Monica Joseph-Taylor is the owner of a successful blog called Mommy’s Dirty Little Secret and is learning to stand on her own while raising their two children. (She looks like WENDY WILLIAMS, lol)

Ex-wife of mobster Phil “Philly” Caruso and mother of two daughters, Cheryl Caruso has rebuilt her life as a business woman by running a tequila business.
