The latest TV ad will air shortly after her Super Bowl 2013 Halftime performance in February, with this being the fifth spot she’s shot for Pepsi since joining with the company back in 2002.

According to the The New York Times, soon after Beyoncé performs a Pepsi-sponsored halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII, she will be featured in a new TV ad for the soft drink and her face will be on a limited-edition line of soda cans.

“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” said Beyoncé in a statement. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

Her general manager of her Parkwood Entertainment company, Lee Anne Callahan-Longo, revealed to the NY Times:

“It’s wise for a brand like Pepsi to give an artist the ability to truly express herself, instead of just the old-school way of, ‘Do you want to be in an advertisement?’ This is much bigger. This is, ‘How can we create something together that is truly unique?’ ”

Beyonce’s brand new ad for the soft drink company–which will first be seen early 2013 as a life-size poster in stores- came out yesterday and was shot back in October.
