A rumor went around the blogesphere that Kandi Burruss (of RHOA) was engaged to wed her boyfriend Todd Tucker (pictured above) whic would air on Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 5. Kandi Burruss took to her twitter page to set the record straight.

“I DIDN’T GET ENGAGED! That’s a blog lie! Lol” Kandi wrote.

One “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star questioned why Kandi didn’t inform her about the engagement.

“I’m laughing at @RAHSHEEDA calling me mad saying I didn’t tell her I got engaged,” Kandi wrote.

Speculation that Kandi and Todd Tucker were engaged and heading down the aisle started when co-star Phaedra Parks told Paper magazine that a wedding might be taking place during season 5.

No wedding bells for Kandi just yet…Or is she throwing us a curve ball to not spoil Season 5? Hmmm…

The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta headed to Anguilla for their Season 5 “vacation,” and it looks like two of the ladies got along particularly well.

On July 15, Phaedra Parks tweeted a picture of herself and Kandi Burruss working on their tans in Anguilla, and not only do the two gals look particularly gorgeous, but it also sounds like they’ve become closer than ever.

“Friends are forever! Me & my girl @kandi ‪#sisterhood‬,” Phaedra tweeted alongside the picture, above.
