Imani Showalter dating Marvin Sapp? Is star Imani Showalter dating a man of God? HipHollywood.com reports that the “Basketball Wives: LA” star and Marvin Sapp have been seeing each since they met at Verizon’s How Sweet The Sound choir competition back in a October. “The two exchanged information and immediately started corresponding after the show,” a source revealed. “A week or so later Marvin flew her to Grand Rapids to visit him and so she could experience his church.” It didn’t end there as the couple has been spotted at different events, including The Stellar Awards and even preaching engagements, over the past few months. “They’ve been spending quite a bit of time together,” said the insider, who noted that Imiani might be in line to become a first lady. “They’re definitely falling in love and I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up getting married.” While she seems to be getting a fairly warm reception at his church, Marvin’s congregation has some reservations about Imani. “If she seriously wants to be with him and plans to become the first lady of his church, the last thing she needs to be doing is tweeting risqué photos of herself. That’s just a big no-no!” one member reportedly said.

Contrary to reports, Basketball Wives LA star Imani Showalter is not dating Gospel recording artist and pastor Marvin Sapp. Showalter cleared up the rumors Friday, claiming people should believe nothing they hear.

“Rule to live by: Believe half of what you see and NONE of what you hear…,” Showalter said following reports claiming she and the “Never Would Have Made It” singer have been dating since October.
