What a wonderful weekend I had covering the 7th annual Jazz in the Gardens!!! My feet hurt today from dancing so much to all the incredible talent that hit the stage this weekend! Check out our pictures and highlights from the show!

Saturday was the kickoff of an AMAZING WEEKEND!!!

Dougie Fresh got the party started and didn’t disappoint the over 20k guests that were there as he DJ’ed old school tunes with the audience’s participation. And of course he showed off and reminded everyone why they call him the “Human Beat Box” concluding his set with his amazing ability. It was off the chain!

OMG @Ledisi! Following Dougie Fresh’s performance, Ledisi did not let us down. She had the entire crowd rockin’ to her effortless voice. Ledisi is so REAL…the Truth is what I call her. She spoke about her struggles in the music business saying, “They told me,” she said, “you’re not a star. You don’t have the look.” But she showed us how deserving she is for all her success! Ledisi has been nominated for seven Grammys. My Favorite Performance of the weekend was Ledisi!

One word “KEM”…What a sexy man with a voice to match! Simply AMAZING artist and performer. Kem performed ‘You’re on my Mind’, ‘Why Would You Stay’ and ‘Share My Life’, amongst other crowd favorites.

And last but definitely not least, MISS JILL SCOTT graced us with her beautiful and radiant presence. OMG – SHE IS UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS! She looked amazing and sounded better than ever. Indescribable talent and art. I LOVE HER and so did her fans that evening!
