UNREAL! The National Enquirer had fans in an outrage when they released a over featuring a photo showing the late Whitney Houston in her opened gold casket.
The tabloid claims the picture was taken at Whigham Funeral Home in New Jersey and sent by someone to several media outlets. Some, including Jezebel and the Fox 411 blog, republished the photo at the top of their posts without any warning. The Daily Mail published the photo with the body blurred out.
SMH. I am not posting the picture, but if you want to see it, click on the link below.

I think as an icon people are curious…i also think that reporters are gonna be reporters regardless of your wishes…invasion of privacy is their job..unfortunately we live in a world that craves info….

Someone at that funeral home would have to fess up to that. that is a serious violation of privacy – esp when they instructed everyone to turn off their phones/no cameras and lets just have ChURch! WOW

I wasn’t surprised at all. I think it does cross a lot of lines. It’s not right and if I were apart of the family I’d be pissed. But as a normal person who watches tabloids…I’m not surprised at all. It’s typical. They do this type of stuff all the time. So I was waiting for it to happen.

This is simply appalling. How dare they do that. It had to be someone from inside the funeral home. It is such a tragedy that someone could be so lowdown and disrespect her family in such a way. I hope they sue because this went way too far.

Smh at the fact that you posted the link. What’s the difference? Either way it goes someone else has disrespected the wishes of the family. And for these who viewed the picture after/before fuming is also wrong. Hypocritical, right?

You’re not posting the picture, but you’re sharing the link. What’s the difference?

MZ Diva…to answer your “smart” question….I’m a media outlet. There are readers who want to comment on this blog and some who are curious to see what the Enquirer posted. I personally, like other media outlets, did NOT want to post the picture on this article because I didn’t want to see on MY media outlet. However, for my daily readers I ensure my blog posts are thorough enough for one to comment on. I didn’t want to take time out of my precious day to respond to you, but I did. THANK YOU and have a blessed weekend Mz Diva!

I, myself, don’t want to see that picture on here or anywhere else. I like that you gave us the option to see it if we choose but I am choosing NOT to.!

i mean you really cant say whoever viewed the picture is wrong because thats just human nature. whoever posted the picture is wrong. i must say that i viewed the picture and i dont see anything wrong with that because she looked absolutely beautiful.

When I said, “whoever viewed the picture was wrong” was more of saying, “You’re upset because them posting/viewing the picture was being disrespectful towards the family, but then you turn around and do the same.” Of course its human nature that we in general would want to see it. But on the other hand don’t jump down other’s throats and or bash them when you’re doing/did the same thing.

Well all im saying is that its a magazine you know they will do this to any big celebrity they dont care. They did it to Michael Jackson. They would do it to Obama. They dont give a damn who it is. You think they gone stop. Nope. And i’m not even upset about the whole posting the link thing because their are different links posted everywhere.

Although we would like to think that a stars life should be private at their death. Unfortunately, they lose that privilege by becoming a star. They want their lives shared when they want your money…..

Thats roght sporty girl they know what kind of lifestyle their getting into before they enter it. It’s their choice. And many celebrities wanna act as if their tired of the paparazzi and the fans but it’s the fans that make them rich.

First and foremost posting the picture was dead wrong celebrities dont ask you to make them a celebrity we the world make them who they are. come on guys it was their wish at least they were nice enough to let us watch the funeral isnt that enough. Every family wants to mourn privately give them that privilage. She has a daughter the same age as me who has to live with it .I live in the Bahamas and she has some realns over here including me my mommy doesnt really check for hollywood but she cried for whitney she said whitney was the best to ever done it RIP and Bobbi Kristina is loved

The funeral home is empty and that wasnt the case seeing that once the viewing started the funeral home would be packed with the hours it was private so it was someone close or the family to be there when no one else was there

But it’s their choice and decision to get into the business. They sign the contract.
