Demi Moore is filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, she told the Associated Press.
“As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” she told the news service.
Kutcher tweeted a statement, writing, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”
The news marks the end of weeks of speculation as to the couple’s status after rumors spread in September after a San Diego woman’s detailed account of an alleged sexual tryst with the 33-year-old Kutcher led to widespread reports that Kutcher and Moore were splitting.

i love Demi and i love Ashton too. im sorry that they are splitting up but it is what it is and no one shold have to put up with that shit no matter who they are. I wish them both the best.

I love the union of marriage, but in all honesty Ashton is only acting his age….she knew the age difference when she married him and yes she is a beautiful woman, but this young man wants to live his life according to his age and she has been their done that….let him go Demi, you proved to the world you got what it take to be the #1 COUGAR…

Ashton knew what he was getting into…Demi didn’t hide her kids or age from him…it takes TWO to tango and like she said, being a woman or even a human being – NO ONE deserves to be cheated on and humiliated to that extent!!! HIT THE ROAD JACK!!!
