Finally something positive coming out of Diddy’s World….Hip-Hop mogul is being credited with “saving” The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem New York, with a charitable donation that will help the organization’s operational budget.
AHH reports that the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem announced that Diddy gave a “remarkable” donation to the organization that helps mentor and guide young people in the community, regardless of their circumstances. The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem, New York, was facing budgetary constraints due to shifts in federal, state and private funding. According to Willie C. Bentley, Jr., Board Member and Resource Development Chair of The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem, Combs’ donation came at exactly the right time. “Mr. Combs’ contribution comes at a time when we were faced with the possibility of eliminating existing programs and/or club sites,” Willie C. Bentley Jr. told AllHipHop.com. “One hundred percent of Mr. Combs’ contribution will go directly to the young people, and provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs allowing us to move forward as a club, uninterrupted.”

Bravo! Finally, P Diddy step it up and gave back. If more celebrities with money would give back, we would probably have less men incarcerated. Boys and Girls Clubs are need in all inner city communities across the country.

Peaches how do you know they(celebrities) don’t give back in their communities already???
Rarely do you see it reported…..
The question is….how many of us regular people give back or even support such organizations, charities, or foundations??
