BET IS TRYING HARD TO SAVE "THE GAME"! POSSIBLE FOURTH SEASON!

Black Entertainment Television (BET) is reportedly bending over backwards trying to land CW’s cancelled series “The Game.” The network says the entire cast is on board for a fourth season but licensing issues stand in the way. “BET is doing everything it can to acquire the rights to Mara Brock Akil’s The Game,” a source at the cable network tells TVGuide.com.

“The licensing issues are very complicated,” says our source. Earlier this year, BET acquired the rights to run repeats of the Girlfriends spin-off.

Sources tell us that the idea of BET stepping forward and saving The Game actually came from the show’s cast. If picked up by BET, however, The Game would stick to its half-hour comedy roots.

LET’s PRAY FOR THIS SHOW TO COME BACK ON! I truly miss it!

They do need to bring it back, for real. BET needs more sitcoms…not reality shows. I mean…I’m still gonna watch, “Frankie and Neffe” and “Tiny and Toya”, but they’re only gonna be on until like…September or November. Mara Brock Akil should have more shows to give to BET or something. BET also needs new movies. BET needs some work…serious work.

Yes, we need Bet to pick the Game up, its only Right. A Black Network to back a black show full of substance. We have a great cast and writers. They are full of talent and have great energy. I had to pay my satellite provider extra just to get the CW, so when they cancelled The Game, I cancelled them! I really hope everything works out and BET picks up the show. I don’t see why they’re making it so hard to let BET get the license if they cancelled the show in the first place.

I think they need to bring it back because not only was the show good but it represents African Americans as a whole almost ever show that has a high African American cast has been dismissed and i am clueless as to why that is but with the humarious occasion and the real life experiences this show embodies why not keep from my knowledge the ratings on this show are outstanding and further more the television is excatly that a buisness so if your making money on it why not keep it

I can’t get enough of the show. I watch the reruns over and over again on BET. My daughters and myself could not wait for Friday night to watch the last season. Only this morning we were watching some reruns on youtube. Please do not end this show. I love the characters. I know you can make it happen BET. You will make a lot of people happy

It seems like all the good shows with Africian American families in them then they wanna take them off the air but keep shows with the Caucasion families and most of them have at least one gay person in them. BET if you don’t pick up “The Game” what good is your network. Nobody wants to watch those bootleg reality shows. I mean the only one I did watch was Keyshia Cole’s, and now that she isn’t in it, I don’t care for any spin off’s of her mother and sister. Please do everything in your power to save this show. Not for just people of color but for everyone who enjoyed just a really good show. I just love beautiful, intelligent, funny black people who represent “us” the right way! To the whole cast i’m rooting for you guys ! Plus i’m so excited there’s a character with my name…lol. My whole 25 yrs of life I’ve never met anyone with my name. Honestly me and my whole family love the game. My mother who is 40 watches it, I watch it and im 17, my 20 year old brother loves it, my 14 year old brother loves it and my 11 year old sister loves it. I think if BET picked up the game it would be good for their rating and seeing as how it already fits in with the other shows they air but happens to be 10X better, I don’t see why they wouldn’t.

I would like to know the real reason the show was canceled. The show deals with some real issues in the black communities/families and in the world of black athletes. I feel the show was canceled for that same reason. It’s almost as if they don’t want us to do better as a community, so they cancel anything that will allow us to learn and grow as an individual. I thin this show deserves the be aired for a 4th season. it seemed to me like they just threw together an ending and it was not satisfying. In not the type to throw out the race card (my stepfather is Caucasian) but i do think that we need to stay in touch with who we are and keep as many African American shows on air as possible, especially a show that is this good it is genuine and very well acted. The Game REALLY needs to come back. As of right now it’s the only good show on BET and that’s considering it’s all re-runs. While I love the Jamie Foxx show, that sh*t is over 10 yrs old Not to mention all the movies that are shown on this channel are also OLD.

The way everything ended, it has to come back!! It’s a good show and it portrays a lot of situations that can actually happen in real life, unlike all these stupid SCRIPTED “reality shows”. BET please bring back The Game. I posted a message on the CW website about the Game and they deleted my comment. Because I told them how they aired the Game at the wrong times and wrong days. It seem like all the Black Shows that were on the CW they air on Sundays first season then as time went by they change that day and the time to Fridays when people get paid, people go out to the clubs, and etc…. Just bad airing. Anyway when I posted that comment they delete it from their site. Just think about the Black shows that were on the CW Girlfriends, Everybody hates Chris, The Game and etc…they all were cancelled. Now lets think about Caucasians shows that on there 90210 Tuesday 8/7c, Gossip Girl Mondays 9/8c, Melrose Place Tuesday 9/8c, One Tree Hill Mondays 8/7c, Supernatural Thursday 9/8c, The Vampire Diaries Thursday 8/7c, and Smallville Fridays 8/7c, this is the only show that the CW have on Fridays help me to understand what the CW is doing. They have the Americas Next top Model and that is on Wednesday 8/7c. I think we (the people) need to stick together and stop watching CW so they know how much this mean to us. CW need to treat all people the same. BET lets bring back The Game. Through God anything is possible.

I really hope that BET will pick up The Game. It was one truly the second black tv show that I missed once it was gone. Girlfriends, then The Game, I know that I yearn to see what becomes of Janay, Melanie and Derwin’s love triangle. The characters are so believable and the show has a bits and pieces of real life. I am sure that some episodes reminded a viewer of something that might have happened in their life or something that exists in their current life. Overall it was a really good show, and I feel it needs to be brought back to television.

What’s happening, I heard one of the cast on the TJMS and have been looking for the show. My kids really enjoy the show. We’ve looked at “Brothers” but that doesn’t seem to fill the void of missing the Game. My entire family looked forward to the show every week, so much so we search nearly every week for updates. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE bring back “The Game”.

my friend erin and i are absolutely in love with this show. we watch it whenever we can. i hope that BET really does pick it up, but i would like the scripts and what not really stay the same and not alter just because its on a new station.

I love the game. I really hope BET will make a fourth season. I think it will do really good as long as its not on a FRIDAY or Saturday night when nobodies at home watching Television.

BET please do everything to bring it back for a 4th season. It didnt end quite well Jason is wit camille, Derwin got the baby as his first, Tasha is knocked out cold, Jenny Melony and Derwin will nvr be the same. I need to see whats next. Beleive it or not its not fare to take away the sho just cuz ratings dropped. THeyre are plenty of devoted fans just cjeck the comments and the ratings. At least add on one more seaon to put everything to rest. You cant have a season or series end with unanswered questions. If its over forever everything needs to be answered. Its different if its a finale and coming back but its not so answer us and put our thoughts to rest. Take it like this prison break ended forever but they answered any unaswered questions in the show like micheal died from his disease but got everyone free and his son is healthy and they all live happy. Im not saying they gotta all live happy but answer us please. Me and the fans will appreciate it dearly. Please get back to us.

I think the should totally do a season four!!!! Its a great show and I watch the re runs all the time. . . I don’t even know who my favorite is…. This is one show me and my hubby actually watch together!!!!
