The 81st Academy Awards went down last night at the Kodak Theater for the seventh consecutive year. ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, a Fox Searchlight production, picked up the most coveted Oscar of the evening: Best Motion Picture, bringing the film’s total Academy Award collection to eight. The movie had been nominated for 10 Oscars. Kate Winslet was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie ‘The Reader’. And the late Heath Ledger was awarded with an Academy Award for Best Supporting actor for his role in The Dark Night! Check out some of the pictures from the star studded night!

Alicia Keyes has such nice hair that wig looked like the bottom of Beyonce’s dress. Hated IT! Taraji looked lovely.
